Join us in the Oak Park Arts District for our annual WOW! Women Owned Works event. Show your support for all of the unique, women-owned businesses on Harrison Street. Follow #shoponharrisonstreet in your social media. Look for bright yellow decorations inside & outside of participating businesses.

Bead In Hand: Owner Kim Humphrey will host a show of jewelry handmade by the staff. The design studio will also have a 15% off sale on all yellow glass beads on strands and you receive a grab bag for every $25 or more purchase. Friday March 17, 11a-5p and Saturday March 18, 10a-5p. Buzz Café: Special Brunch during the WOW event, March 18th 11a-4p. Homemade Quiche, Soup, Salad and Lemon Shortbread Cookie for $13. 905 S Lombard.


Dancing Krow Studio: Stop by and say hello. A few of the women artists will be working in the gallery/studio  and an artist reception on Saturday, March 18 from noon-5pm. Their current exhibit The Road of Flowers and Thorns: Life’s Journey Past is on display through March 28th. Refreshments served. Free gift to visitors. Dancing Krow Studio and Gallery is located at 43 Harrison St.


 Dima Jewelry Atelier + Boutique. Beautiful, handmade, modern and affordable jewelry. Sample sale and 70% markdown on many pieces. Beside Dima’s creations, the boutique will host Spread the Love body butters and scrubs. Meet and greet with Oak Park Village Trustee candidate Brian Straw, from 12p-2p on March 18. 41 Harrison St.


Elevate Creative: Elevate will have their famous deluxe minis with all in-store and online purchases. Shop travel sizes for spring break and fun Easter basket fillers for kids and teens. Open 9am-4pm on Saturday, March 18. Elevate Creative is located at 321 Harrison St.


Expressions Studio. On the 3rd Saturday of every month, Expressions Studio opens their doors to the community. Come in on Saturday afternoon to check out the studio, view the gallery, learn about classes, and get to know the printmakers. If you are a member of the studio, come in and use the shop for free! Saturday March 18th, 1-4pm. 29 Harrison.


Formoda. Her showroom will showcase jewelry, accessory, fashion and home goods design, as well as small fine art works. 11am-7pm. Formoda is located upstairs at 27 Harrison St. #2


GRND Coffee House. Join us on March 18 from 11:00am to 5:00pm for a special tasting with GRND Coffee. They’ll work with you to curate a coffee flight to suit your pallet, explore different ways of preparing your coffee, and of course sample several of their favorite flavors. Kidcreate Studio – Oak Park. Paw Patrol Weekly Class (18 Months-6 Years). Saturday, March 18 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. Ryder says it best, “No job is too big, no pup is too small!” This is your invitation to help us tackle the big job of creating awesome Paw Patrol art! We’ll explore different techniques, styles, and materials to create art inspired by all our favorite rescue pups: Marshall, Chase, Zuma, Skye, and more! Get ready, cause “PAW Patrol is on a roll!”. L’Institut français d’Oak Park. Get to know l’Institut français d’Oak Park at their Open House on Wednesday, March 15! Drop by 11 Harrison Street any time from 6-8pm to learn more about their programs, determine which class is right for you, and enjoy wine, cheese, and conversation in English and French. There’s no time like spring for rejuvenation and new beginnings – of one’s French language skills! L’Institut français d’Oak Park offers professionally taught French classes for all levels of learners and their Spring 2023 session will run from April 3 through June 9. Val’s halla Records. Val’s is THRILLED to welcome Cheryl Lynn Tomblin to the Val’s stage.  Cheryl will be performing songs from some of her favorite female artists starting at 2pm.  They will also have discounts on music from some of their favorite female artists.
